One Word 2016 - ouroboros

(from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ouroboros)

The ouroboros often symbolizes self-reflexivity or cyclicality, especially in the sense of something constantly re-creating itself, the eternal return, and other things such as the phoenix which operate in cycles that begin anew as soon as they end. It can also represent the idea of primordial unity related to something existing in or persisting from the beginning with such force or qualities it cannot be extinguished.

It's almost time for Camp

I'm finishing/editing my novel from November 2014 - my word count goal is set at 35K.

Camp starts on April 1 - if you're interested in participating, you can sign up on the Camp NaNo site. If you don't think you can get to 50K, no worries - you set your own word count, and it can be as low at 10K. Any form of writing is allowed - short stories, poetry, non-fiction, etc. - it's not limited to novels for Camp.

Is anyone else going to Camp next month??

NaNoWriMo

It's been a few years since I did this, but I am attempting it again this year. Of course, I spent 2 months outlining and researching, only to change stories at the last minute. ;)

If you're a NaNo'er and want to add me as a buddy, my user name is (the very original) carelia. ;)

If you don't know, NaNoWriMo is National Novel Writing Month (even tho it's international). Participants attempt to write a novel during the month of November (novel being defined as 50,000 words - if you're under 18, you can set your own word goal).

It's fun! Sign up! :)
